I was introduced to a music group called Headphone-Tokyo through a friend linking me to one of their PVs.

The widely known Hatsune Miku from the Vocaloid series is presented here by Good Smile Company as a 1/8 scale PVC figure modeled after her appearance in the commercial shown below.
Picked up the Hatsune Miku CM ver. by Good Smile Company that was an exclusive at this year’s Wonder Festival.
After reading the comprehensive post about this game over at Chiaki Project, I was compelled to try it out.
My impressions after playing it for a bit are good ones. Before playing Project DIVA, I of course knew of the ultra popular vocaloid Hatsune Miku, but only listened to a few of her songs. So the game’s wide selection of songs was new to me, which allowed me to fully experience her music. The gameplay is your standard press the correct button at the correct time; it’s like DDR except with using your fingers.
While your selected song is playing and you’re pressing buttons, there’s stuff going on in the background. It seems like for most songs there’s a slideshow of related Hatsune Miku artwork, which is nice to look at. But for some select songs (e.g. The World is Mine), there’s actually a 3D Miku music video – very impressive!
I can easily clear the songs on Easy difficulty, but Normal becomes a hit and miss since it can get a bit hectic at times. That Hard mode shown in the video is insane, but I’ll get there one of these days. >_<
If you own a PSP, I highly recommend getting this game. If you don’t own a PSP, they’re getting to be pretty cheap now – so consider buying one!
