Happy New Year 2010!

Time sure does pass by quickly when we don’t think about it.

Highlights of 2009 for me include essentially completing college (only 1 class my final semester), starting this blog, founding Figure Haven, and attending conventions for the first time (Anime Expo and Blizzcon).

My resolutions for 2010 include getting a job once I graduate, traveling to Japan and Europe, and finishing some of my side projects. What were some of your highlights and/or resolutions?

Happy New Year everyone and here’s to a great 2010!

Merry Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas everyone!

My presents received consisted of clothes and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens from my brother. As for the gifts I got my family, I bought wine that we’ll be trying out tonight that hopefully turns out to be enjoyable.

What presents did everyone else get?

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend.

Random Banners

Added four new banners in addition to the one that I’ve been using recently. I decided to implement random banners to make the blog a bit more dynamic.

For those interested in how I did it: I used Matt Mullenweg’s Random Image Script, which is just some short php code. Instructions for usage are on that site as well.

As for the banner images, they’re all from the Saber Portraits art book.

New Banner

As you have probably noticed, I replaced the old banner with a new one that is from the Fate/stay night: Saber Portraits art book. I got the high resolution scan from Safebooru.

Felt that it would be nice to have some new scenery.

Anyways, back to writing my term papers and studying for finals. To anyone else doing the same: Ganbatte!

Fate/stay night: Saber Portraits

saber_artbook_1

I recently received the Saber Portraits art book in the mail after ordering it from a book store in Japan. The shipping option I chose was SAL (Economy Air) since I wanted to test out how long it took to arrive and because it was cheaper. It took around 3 weeks to get here from Japan to California. =/
