My favorites would have to be ALTER’s Saber and Rin summer version since it is ALTER’s high quality paired with Fate/stay night. It’s nice to see Good Smile Company re-releasing the immensely popular Miku figure and also the Nendo Kirino as well.

The MegaHouse Kenshin figures are awesome since we rarely get to see high quality male figures out there. Plus, Rurouni Kenshin was one of the first anime series I watched way back in the day, so I’m happy to finally see a good figure of Kenshin released.

It was my first time shooting using the manual settings. I think I set the ISO too high, so some of the photos seem a bit bright. I’ll get better in the future with more practice though. =/

The quality of the paint job seems somewhat rough when compared to figures by Good Smile Company, Alter, and the other top tier makers. However, I have high standards now after examining GSC’s Saber Lily, so Satsuki was unlucky in this regard. The hair is also a bit too glossy for my liking.

It’s my first figure from Orchid Seed, and the final verdict is that I’m a bit disappointed. However, I picked it up on sale at HLJ so I have no complaints there.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Orchid Seed fares with their Lineage II Elf Mage figure. It looks fabulous so far from the photos, but I need to see it in person before deciding for sure.

The order I placed during the free shipping promotion at HLJ has arrived. I tried to get figures from a wide range of manufacturers to sample their style and quality.

Orchid Seed is due to release a 1/7 scale PVC figure of an elf mage from the popular MMO Lineage II.

I have it on pre-order for Figure Haven, and it should be coming in-stock at the end of January along with many other figures. Seems like a lot of pre-orders are being released during that time.

CG Movie from Lineage II:

Not an elf mage, but close enough. I actually played an elf wizard way back when I tried out L2, but it got to be too much of a grindfest.

Anyways, an awesome figure that stays true to the ingame depiction of the character. I don’t really like a lot of the Orchid Seed figures, but this one seems like a good choice to purchase.

I could also use more 1/7 scale figures since I mostly have the standard 1/8 scale ones.
