I thought the figma version would be a bit larger. Now I’m slightly disappointed.
Seems like a lot of figmas are around the same size though. This was my first one so I was caught off-guard.

The Reimu Hakurei figma by Max Factory is the best figma that I’ve seen to date. Without the clear supporting arm behind her in the picture, she could pass as a scaled PVC figure.
Since I was recently asked for advice on how to buy PVC figures and what to look for, I thought it would be nice to focus my thoughts about this in a post.

Drössel figma is finally being re-released sometime October 2009 for 3,200 yen by Max Factory. Very tempted to get one for myself due to Kodomut’s constant photos of her along with the glowing eyes mod.
Hopefully I’ll be able to stock some for Figure Haven, but it’ll be after the release in Japan due to licensing constraints. Will post when it’s available.

So I finally got a digital camera and decided to start doing some posts on the figures I own.
The figure that gets the honor of being the first covered is Kureha from the Shining Wind series, sculpted by Shunji Hagii from Max Factory.
