There’s a new K-ON! OVA out! It is an actual full episode and not one of those 3 minute specials.
Their antics are entertaining and fun to watch as usual. This time they’re planning to do a live performance at a club. Now we just have to wait for the second season to air…
First of all, what military recruits high school girls to form their own solo platoon that is then used to defend a town?
I’ve been seeing a lot of blog posts spreading the news about the upcoming Yui nendo, but I’m still going to post about it despite that.
New Yui nendo by Good Smile Company is coming out this December for 3,500 yen, which is roughly $37~ USD (seems to be the standard release price on their nendos).
Judging from the photos alone, Yui fits the role of being a nendo perfectly. Hopefully GSC will make the entire K-ON! cast, then I’ll be able to have the set. ^^;
Also, I’m looking forward to seeing Azusa as a figure or a nendo – preferably both!

A really short K-ON! special episode is out. It features Yui pondering about random things having to do with each of the other members.
The above image is the animation quality of this almost 3 minute episode. I guess it’s supposed to reflect Yui’s personality, or the studio was just plain lazy. However, they had to get the seiyuu cast together to do their respective voices; I wonder what their thoughts were during the recording? >_>
Go see the pointlessness for yourself.
Seems like the figure makers are going along with Mio’s popularity. Above we have a Mio Akiyama 1/8 PVC figure by Alter.
Then we have a Nendoroid Mio Akiyama by Good Smile Company. They’re both being released this November.
I know I’m going to be getting them, are you?
