About
I am a software engineer at a company that does user interface design and web development. You might also know me as one of the co-founders of Figure Haven. I basically watch every anime series that airs as long as it is even remotely decent. The same idea applies to manga. I have been collecting figures for a few years, with Good Smile Company, Max Factory, and Alter being my favorite makers. Games are something I am quite knowledgeable about as I have wasted countless hours playing everything from tactical RPGs like Disagea to MMOs like Ragnarok Online and World of Warcraft. So I decided to try blogging about it to present my own thoughts regarding these subjects and to keep a personal history of it.
For those readers out there that have their own blogs about anime/figures/manga/games related topics, I would be pleased to make your acquaintance and exchange links to our blogs. Just leave a comment on this page or email me at reltair [at] projectsaber.com, whichever you find more convenient.
If the above does not apply to you, I would still be pleased to make your acquaintance. I encourage you to leave comments on my posts and we’ll get some discussion going. ^^

Hello.
I discovered your blog thanks to Tsuki-Board and its aggrégator. I like very much your pictures, and I wanted to know two little things.
- The first one if you could send me (at the address indicated for this comment) a banner of your site 130×48, so that I can add you in my favourites.
- The second, if you were interested in the publication of two of your reviews a month on my site. I suggest to readers sending two articles a month, to put them on Shadonia (as for The Sacrifice and Gathering Sylvia Von Hossen posted this week-end). There is a page of explanation named “Participation” on Shadonia, but if you wish more information, you can also contact me by email, so that I explain to you (or if you have questions).
I hope not to disturb you. Have a good day.

Oh wow, sounds exactly like me >.<, although I WOULD be in uni if it wasn't for a couple of 'detours'. Anyway, I used to play RO and WoW too pretty much. Gave up on WoW a few months back, and got addicted to blogging.
It's great to see another hardcore FSN fan, the otaku community could do well with more imo
I added you to my blogroll if thats ok with you. I look forward to hearing from you

What would be one of your favorite all time anime, for some reason every since i watched torodora (im sure i miss spelled that) ive been throwing alot of romance/slice of life into my normal anime watching, so ive been going back thru older anime that i would of until recently passed over

Reltair Reply:

Hm, I should really make a top anime list. The first one that popped into my head would be Monster. The depth of its story and the development of the characters in it is simply amazing.
For romance/slice of life, I liked Amagami SS which was pretty recent. The first and last arcs were the best.
[Reply]
haha i just actually finished Amagami SS today around 2:00 and yes it was pretty good i laughed so hard on the first arc lol
[Reply]
Havent seen Monster so ill def need to check it out later on this evening
[Reply]
As of right this min im checking out Sora no Otoshimono which can be pretty funny at times.
[Reply]
LOL of course ill always be a advid Bleach and naruto fan which ive been watching for a few years now and reading the manga which i follow alot of manga another big one which i wish they would continue up on is historys strongest diciple kenichi, im a sucker for that kind of anime. I did like reborn but they keep getting off main topic with to much fillers thus im beging to like the seasonal anime rather than the ones that continously go on that way i dont have to deal with the story being hurt
[Reply]
sry for writing so much when talking to other anime fans which is non existant around here i get a little to excited and get carried away lol

Reltair Reply:
February 19th, 2011 at 7:55 pm
Haha, no problem. I’m not watching any long continuous series right now. I used to watch Naruto and Bleach way back when they first aired, but I stopped when they got to the massive filler episodes. Never bothered picking them back up again, meh.
[Reply]
thats about the way i am ill watch an episode now and again when its a good one i mainly read the manga though
[Reply]
did you ever get around to watching freezing?

Fate stay/night for the win! That’s the series Saber is from, so it’s a given that I like it. ^^
Man, you’re watching a ton of anime recently.
[Reply]
i got laid off from my work and im currently job hunting by day so my daily anime went from a few hours to about 5-7 hahaha wont last long though ill be back to work soon. So gotta enjoy it while i can

Yeah, the ending to the Fate/stay night anime wasn’t exactly a happy one. The movie has superb visual effects and battle sequences, but it kind of assumes you already know the story, which is good for you since you just finished the series.
[Reply]
lol yea movie was great i do like the lineage of archer very cool. right now im looking for another good series to sink my teeth into for the evening im looking at Tsukihime Lunar Legend to see how that fans out, on a side note ive been pondering on your models the details on them are awesome any sugestions?

on a side not im getting where i will avoid anime based on eroga i think ive seen like one good one (can’t remember the name) but then i seen one that kind of killed it for any future ones was really sadistic where everyone pretty much dies except for the loony toon girl holding the head of her dead ex boyfriend
Reltair Reply:

Yeah, to each their own.
Haha, I think you’re referring to School Days. It was definitely a different anime from most. I agree, anime can contain fan service and still be good. So I usually watch a few episodes of anything to judge for myself.
