Kore wa Zombie desu ka? – First Impressions

Kore wa Zombie desu ka? is the most entertaining series airing this season.

The main character is a high school boy who gets murdered by a serial killer, but is resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer. Then the necromancer, a “masou shoujo” (magically equipped girl), and a vampire ninja end up living in his house. With a premise like this, you know it has to be fun to watch. There’s parodies, fan service, humor, and more! It keeps the content varied enough so that there’s not too much of one thing ruining everything.

I like how the high school boy/zombie is the slacker-type since it makes his narration all the more amusing. Solid voice acting paired with the embarrassing situations he finds himself in are more than enough reason for me to watch this every week.

In the beginning with the whole magical zombie guy thing, it was hilarious! but sadly we don’t see any more of that in the other episodes and yeah this is a pretty entertaining series to watch :3

Haha, and he always mentions that he’s both a zombie AND a masou shoujo after that.

Seems like a very light, silly, fan servicey fun anime. It’s too bad I don’t have time for it. I could really use some laughs.

Yup, that about sums it up although there is somewhat of a plot still going forward. There can never be enough laughter in our lives!
