Anyways, I didn’t think too much of the series at first, but it seems like it turned out all right.

Whoa, that definitely isn’t the case at all, although some of the Takanashi/Inami “comedy” was overplayed.

Working!! works when it uses subtle or off-the-cuff comedy, but when it goes big, it goes bad. If one were to assess the anime by its first impression, then it chalks up to a lolicon average guy starts working in a restaurant filled with unique people who desperately try to avert being stereotypes that have been beaten to death over the years. So then Takanashi would just be a loser representation of the audience, Poplar would be loli service, Inami would be the worst character EVER, and Wagnaria would be the most boring place on earth to work. But that is not the case at all.

Inami had a troubled background that the series could easily concentrate on. Popura-chan seems to be quite normal, but it never really showed her family or past, so maybe we’re in for a surprise next season.

i REALLY enjoyed Working!!. All the characters are funny, and I sincerely hope there’s a second season~ More Maya p10x!
