Fanime 2010 Dealer’s Hall

My coverage of Fanime 2010 consists of just the Dealer’s Hall since that’s where I was most of the time due to having to stand watch over our Figure Haven booth.

I did wander the Artist Alley for a bit and participated in the Charity Auction, but that’s about it. The photos are of various booths in the Dealer’s Hall.

Look forward to the loot post tomorrow!

Yup, I was mostly looking for figures though when I combed through all the booths. I went through the entire hall pretty quickly since I’m an elitist when it comes to figure collecting. >_>

I’m always amazed with the dealer’s hall at anime conventions. It always seems so overwhelming at times though. Especially with all the different options for different merchandise and usually a very limited budget. Regardless it is always enjoyable to see all the different things on sale, from gunpla to figures to import games. There really is anything for anyone somewhat interested in Japanese/otaku culture.

Hope you did well with your booth at Fanime!

Having a booth at Fanime was a new (and tiring) experience for us. We did okay, and now our next goal is to have a booth at Anime Expo.

I know what you mean. I held myself back pretty well this time from making too many purchases. 🙂

Glad to see Figure Haven is back up for orders, I am still in the process of choosing my first figure to actually purchase, but it will definitely be from Figure Haven.

Time to pull the trigger soon!

Thanks for choosing Figure Haven! 🙂

I’ll actually be adding some new figures to the site tomorrow, but then going on vacation until next Monday. Thus, orders won’t be processed/shipped until then (I’ll make a more detailed post tomorrow).

I hope the dealers room at my next convention is like that. last convention I went to I spent almost half the day staring at Queen’s Blade figures!! xD

Haha, hopefully it will be! I noticed a lot of the same people wandering around the Dealer’s Hall for hours at a time. Lots of stuff to see I guess.

    Wow! that’s a lot of figures. Wait a sec… is that a blazblue booth I see? @__@

Yah, Aksys had a booth there. That banner you see is (if I recall correctly) 8 ft by 10 ft. The developers/artists behind Blazblue came and sketched characters all over it before they auctioned it off. I believe it went for $700. >_<

So many figures and cool stuff. Fanime looks busy and awesome. I’m kind of sad I had to miss it this year. It’s the only anime event I’m most likely to go to all year.

There’s always next year, right? :/

The AX dealer’s hall is way more impressive and busy, but San Jose is closer I guess.
