Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou First Impressions
There’s always at least one harem series every season and Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou takes that position for the Spring 2010 season.
The anime involves a guy going to a magic academy where the equivalent of the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter decides that his future occupation is going to be demon lord. Chaos ensues from that point on where he becomes misunderstood in everything he does and ends up in various undesirable situations.
There’s pretty blatant fan service throughout along with some humorous situations, but the main reasons I watch this series is to see him use his godly powers and to end up as a demon lord. So far in episode 3, he snaps and goes into an emotionless state against some bullies and ends up twisting quite a few limbs. A hint of his growth towards fulfilling the prophecy of his future occupation? I think so.

This one wasn’t on my radar at all. The premise could be interesting, except any sort of plot seems to be just mandatory filler for the more important fan service.

Feels like I’m following quite a load of at least decent or better series.

I really am enjoying this series. I find it funny how people misunderstand him^^”

And it all stems from him being called a Demon Lord. If they didn’t have the occupation test, things would probably have been way different.

i think this is one of those series that is gonna need 2 or more seasons and more than 30 episodes or the story wont finish

They definitely need another season at least to finish the story since this season is only 12 episodes, unless they decide to lame it and somehow cook up a premature ending.
