Square Enix Members Rewards

Since many people have been purchasing FFXIII recently, I thought I would share this in case anyone hasn’t heard about it.

Square Enix has a members reward program where buying their games nets you points which in turn increases your membership “tier”. Gamers located in North America can sign up here.

Games like FFXIII and Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which are published by Square Enix, should contain a registration card with a serial number in it. You simply login to your members account and add the game to your “Collection” by entering the code.

Your tier level resets every year, and the date for the next reset is March 31st, 2010. The rewards program sends out free goodies after each reset.

Bronze tier members will receive a postcard set featuring Final Fantasy XIII, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Star Ocean The Last Hope International artwork. Silver tier members will get a desktop calendar with artwork from Final Fantasy XIV, Front Mission Evolved, and other games. Gold tier members will get a music compilation on CD while Ultimate tier members will get an 8GB iPod Touch.

So if you have bought Square Enix games recently, it doesn’t hurt at all to sign up and register them. Plus, there’s usually a sweepstakes going on that you can enter. The current one is for a FFXIII Xbox 360 bundle.

So far it seems like one game will net you enough points for Bronze while two games is enough for Silver.

I still dont know wether i should buy it =/
im not that gamer myself, but the game looks amazing!

  2. Well, that’ll be interesting to see what kind of goodies are in that music compilation. It’s probably the only gift of theirs that I’m remotely interested in since the ipod touch isn’t exactly on my must-get list or anything.

I bought FFXIII yesterday, and registered. Seems like a good idea, I’m only at bronze right now though.

  4. I recently came across that reward program page. Was a shame it wouldn’t me register some of my old games LOL.

I didn’t not that they reset every year. I may just wait to register my copy of FFXIII so it will be on next years points. Of course, I’ll probably forget to register holding it back ^^

@Fabrice: I’m going to have to say yes just because it’s a Final Fantasy game. They’re always known for their amazing graphics, and FFXIII upholds that tradition.

    @zzeroparticle: I want all the goodies! 😛

@kiyoura: Hey, it’s free so might as well.

@Jon Smith: Yeah, I was thinking of doing that, but oh well. Knowing myself, I’ll probably be buying quite a lot of games anyways. >_>

Thank you for this, I joined and registered a few of my recent games. Really neat feature, I’m going to do the same thing for my Nintendo games also at Club Nintendo when I get the chance.

How are you liking Final Fantasy XIII so far?

    Reltair Reply:

No problem. I’m loving FFXIII so far; just trying to beat the main storyline and then getting all the trophies later.

    Brett Reply:

I gave up on trophies/achievements in general. It ruins the experience for me I feel. Like they aren’t things I normally would spend my time doing, and if I am not enjoying it, then why bother? :p

    Reltair Reply:

Chapter 11 was exhausting. I’ll probably be too burned out when I beat the game to go back and get the trophies.

So, I’m and ultimate member now and I’m not sure what I need to do to get my reward

    Reltair Reply:

I think that they’ll send out the rewards once the tier levels reset on March 31st. At least that’s what it seems like since they have all our info via our accounts.

Grats on getting to Ultimate tier!
