Satsuki Ikaruga from Seinarukana – The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2 – is presented here by Orchid Seed as a 1/7 scale PVC figure.
Here’s the OP from the game:
Some other fun facts you might want to know:
- Release Date: 5/2008
- Height: 20cm
- Sculptor: Ribun
Now on with the photos!
It was my first time shooting using the manual settings. I think I set the ISO too high, so some of the photos seem a bit bright. I’ll get better in the future with more practice though. =/
First up are shots of the entire figure.
Satsuki can be presented either with her battle skirt on or off.
Here’s how it looks like with it off:
Next are some close-up shots.
The quality of the paint job seems somewhat rough when compared to figures by Good Smile Company, Alter, and the other top tier makers. However, I have high standards now after examining GSC’s Saber Lily, so Satsuki was unlucky in this regard. The hair is also a bit too glossy for my liking.
It’s my first figure from Orchid Seed, and the final verdict is that I’m a bit disappointed. However, I picked it up on sale at HLJ so I have no complaints there.
I’m looking forward to seeing how Orchid Seed fares with their Lineage II Elf Mage figure. It looks fabulous so far from the photos, but I need to see it in person before deciding for sure.

Shopping for Figures

When I began my collection, I wanted this figure, but a friend had me warns that the quality of Orchid Seed was not still the same between the prototype and the final version. Then, I did not buy her. I dont regret, by seeing your photos ^^ She is nice, but has nothing extraordinary. Thank you for this sharing ^^

No problem, now I hope that the quality between the prototype and final version of their Lineage II Elf Mage stays the same. >_<

I really, I mean really, think that the marble base of this figure is awesome. The printed label of the series name also fits very nicely.
I am unfamiliar with the character and series she is from, but I really like her design. The sword looks pretty awesome too!
Solid review, the pictures look more than fine; I always enjoy looking at your pictures of figures.
Thanks!

Oh, the base is just a marble pattern printed on plastic. The character/design is cool, but the quality really does not stand up to your typical Alter or GSC figure. You can see the rough paintwork upon closer inspection that the photos don’t really show.
Thus, I would not recommend buying this figure (but I’m very picky about quality).
