I think the doorbell only rang twice tonight. Guess there aren’t that many kids in my neighborhood.
The only trick-or-treating I did was ingame on WoW. Otherwise I just sat in my room working on cs projects.

I know I make a point to watch the first episode of any new series, but I can’t believe I wasted time even downloading this.
I guess a younger audience might like it. This is my first and final impression – dropped.
Rating: Fail
Already have Windows 7 installed and running on my laptop. Need to do the same for my desktop as well.
At least it’s better than Vista I guess.

I couldn’t wait the one week for the next episode to come out, so I started reading the manga to see what happens next in the story.
It seems to be focusing a lot so far on misunderstandings when I instead want to see the romantic relationship develop more between the lead characters. Hopefully that will come soon…

Just curious, what news aggregators does everyone go to for anime-related news?
Just got back from the Sprint 2009 Open Developers Conference.
Besides viewing some interesting presentations by industry experts from Palm and HTC, I also got a free HTC Hero from the Android coding session hosted there.
Now I’ll have an actual Android capable phone to test my own applications on!

I guess I’m behind in my news because this is the first related news I heard of DreamWorks adapting Ghost in the Shell into a 3D live action movie.
At a glance, some of the people involved in the project are experienced in adaptations (e.g. Spiderman, Hulk), which is somewhat reassuring. Hopefully they won’t butcher one of my all time favorite series. If they get it right and do a great job on it, the movie is going to be amazing.

Taking a quick break from coding. Need to find the right camera settings so my computer screens don’t just show up as white. =/
My laptop screen has Eclipse up on it while everything on my desktop is minimized – at least that’s what the photo should have shown.
Tranquil background music, great visuals (especially for the settings), and serious drama. This is what Winter Sonata seems to be made of. In episode 0, vexing issues are already appearing in the characters’ lives and in the relationship between them.
The original actors from the live action Korean drama that it’s based on are doing the voices, so there’s Japanese and English subtitles. I guess it’s a nice change of pace hearing Korean dialogue.
The series feels like it’s going to be slow paced with a depressing atmosphere, but I’m just speculating and later episodes could definitely change this.
