Just got back from Blizzcon today. Here are some photos I took during the two day convention.

And that’s it! The convention was quite enjoyable with my only issue being the long lines due to the massive amounts of people there. It was my first time going this year since I wanted to see what it was like, and I’m still debating whether to go next year.
Blizzard had a total of 1,700 PCs set up for the convention. I tried out all the demos which were the Starcraft II Campaign, Starcraft II Multiplayer, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and Diablo III. The allotted playtime for each demo was 20 minutes, which was more than I expected. I thought Starcraft II was the best out of the three with Diablo III being click and kill and WoW: Cataclysm still just WoW.
For the tournaments, I was fortunate enough to have a front row seat which made things more exciting. It was fun seeing the crowd’s reactions and cheers for the different teams. The first place winners for the three tournaments were given $25,000 USD per individual, quite a substantial amount of money. =O
As for the partner booths, it was basically trying to get free stuff. I didn’t win any of the larger prizes, but I did get free t-shirts and beanies. ^^;
It seems like there were either more Horde players there or they were just louder. Their cheers were way better than the Alliance during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Even though I don’t play WoW anymore – FOR THE HORDE!
Anyone else go to Blizzcon this year?

The lines for the game demos moved fairly quickly and the allotted playtime was fair, which equals happy gamers. ^^
Plus, we all did get to play the games before release.
