My Humble Desk at Home

There was fairly recent news about how figure.fm users can submit pictures of their rooms on OTACOOL for consideration in a book that Kotobukiya is putting together of otaku rooms around the world. This inspired me to take some quick pictures of my desk at home.

I don’t really consider my room an otaku room, so I’m leaning towards not bothering with submitting an entry on OTACOOL.

Anyways, this is the desk I am currently using mostly on the weekends since I am at my apartment during the weekdays for college. =/

my_desk_2I try to keep everything tidy.

my_desk_3The computer I built a few months back. Both it and the PS3 are connected to the LCD on the desk.

The figure of Rin dodging Berserker’s grab is by Good Smile Company while the rest of the figures shown are from Kotobukiya.

my_desk_4Fate/stay night figures – Illya, Saber (Holiday ver), Rin vs Berserker.

my_desk_5More Fate/stay night figures – Saber and Rin.

If you haven’t guessed by now, I do like Fate/stay night. >_>

I didn’t have anywhere else to put it in my room. -.-

Still didn’t get around to playing Persona 4 yet either.

Sakura is unfortunately of a lower priority for me. @_@

Mmm… nice and tidy. Maybe I should take a pic of mine too, even though it has nothing lol.

OK, I really have to ask where did you get that desk? I have been looking all over the internet and in stores around me for a desk almost exactly like this one but to no avail. Thank you in advance! 😀

Wow, this post sure brings back memories…

Unfortunately, I got that desk around 15 years ago at a family-run furniture store in the SF bay area. Not sure where you would find one today, but good luck with your search!
